Executive Summary & Context

NutriGo, a fictional Indian D2C healthy snacks brand with ₹25 Cr annual revenue, is planning to expand beyond its own website and marketplaces into quick commerce (q-commerce).

The brand sells premium protein bars, makhana snacks, and roasted trail mixes primarily through its D2C website (45% of revenue) and Amazon India (35%). The customer base skews urban, health-conscious, and impulse-driven—exactly the profile that uses 15-30 minute delivery apps.

Currently, NutriGo's fastest delivery channel (Amazon Prime) takes 1-2 days. To capture the growing q-commerce snack segment, projected at over ₹5,000 Cr by 2026 (RedSeer, 2025), the brand needs a presence on a q-commerce platform.

However, managing inventory across multiple platforms simultaneously is resource-intensive. Therefore, NutriGo must choose one exclusive launch partner for a 6-month pilot among India's three leading platforms: Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart.

Methodology & Data Sources

Recommendation & Roadmap

NutriGo should launch exclusively on Swiggy Instamart for the initial 6-month pilot.

  • Profitability first: With 15-18% commission, Instamart preserves margins, saving an estimated ₹2.5-3 Lakhs/month compared to Blinkit.
  • Reliable operations: Mature returns handling and dedicated account management reduce the operational burden on the small team.
  • Ecosystem leverage: Integration with Swiggy One targets high-intent customers without extra acquisition costs.
  • Speed is adequate: For snacks, a 15-20 min vs. 10-min difference is less critical than for fresh groceries.
